The Hunt For The Reds Of October Returns
Sept. 27, 2020
Hit the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail weekdays this month to sample an array of big, bold Cabernet Francs and Merlots, aromatic Pinot Noirs and other peninsula-made reds. The Leelanau Peninsula Vintners’ Association welcomes back The Hunt for the Reds Of October for its fifth year — as a prime opportunity for winemakers to spotlight reds in a region traditionally known for Riesling and other cool-climate varietals.
The event is held Monday through Friday, October 1-31, 2020, at more than 20 participating Leelanau Peninsula wineries. Tickets are $25 per person — available at the wineries or at lpwines.com — and include a signature wine glass, a complimentary pour of red wine, and a $5 donation to the American Red Cross in Northern Michigan.
