Several area wineries were among the winners at the recent American Fine Wine competitions. They were led by Bel Lago Winery, Chateau Chantal, the Winery at Black Star Farms and Brys Estate Vineyard & Winery.

Bel Lago won Best of Class for its 2018 Dry Riesling and Double Gold for its Cabernet Franc and Auxerrois white varietal. Chateau Chantal won a Double Gold for Amour, its Sweet Rosé. Black Star Farms won Double Gold for Arcturos, its Dry Riesling and for Arcturos, its Pinot Gris. Brys Estate won double gold for its Reserve Off Dry Riesling.
