Fig’s Says Final Goodbye After Stint In State Street Market
Feb. 10, 2021
Leelanau lost longtime local favorite Fig's Breakfast & Lunch when it closed its Lake Leelanau location on September 11 of last year, with owners Bryon and Jaimee Figueroa opening a new culinary venture for Chef Bryon later that fall in Traverse City's State Street Market.
That Fig’s location is now closed as well. “The Figs” posted a message to loyal Fig’s patrons on their business Facebook page late yesterday afternoon:
“We have loved our time breaking bread with all of you. The new year has brought new beginnings for our family and we face them in good health a full of hope. Fig’s will not be reopening in 2021. Thank you for all of your support and positive vibes that made our little family business thrive. Stay healthy and eat well friends.”
