Dance Leelanau Has New Home
Sept. 20, 2024
Community dance collective Dance Leelanau has found a new home at River Studio in Leland.
The organization had previously spent one year at Leland Public School after several years at the Old Art Building.
Dance Leelanau alumni, teacher and owner Hillary Voight said River Studio owner Pete Wilson's invite to Dance Leelanau amounted ot "answered prayers." She and her co-teacher Caitlin Watkins are thrilled to be in the new spot.
"We couldn't have dreamed of a better setting, Voight tells The Ticker. "We are beyond giddy and grateful for him and his invite to host classes at River Studio."
Founded in the late 1990s by Elisa Brabenec, Dance Leelanau has educated countless children over the years. For more information or to sign up for classes, visit their website.
