Suttons Bay Job Fair Coming Up March 13
Suttons Bay, MI – Suttons Bay Public Schools, in partnership with the Suttons Bay Chamber of Commerce will hold a job fair for the third year in a row.
This event, designed to help local businesses fill seasonal positions while providing valuable job application experience for students, will take place on March 13 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at Suttons Bay High School.
Open to students ages 14 and up, as well as school staff seeking summer employment, the job fair offers an excellent opportunity to connect with local employers looking to hire for the upcoming season and beyond, the school said in a statement.
Businesses across a variety of industries will be in attendance, including local ice cream shops, retail merchants, golf courses, restaurants, and more.
In the weeks leading up to the Job Fair, Mrs. Cris Porter provides students with guidance on how to complete a job application, what to expect in a hiring conversation, and how to make a strong first impression with employers. These sessions help ensure that students feel confident and prepared when meeting with potential employers at the event.
Employers are encouraged to bring job postings for all available positions, including roles suitable for students as young as 14, as well as opportunities for those 18 and older.
Students and staff should come prepared to meet potential employers, ask questions, and
explore job opportunities that match their skills and interests. For more information about the 2025 Suttons Bay Job Fair, please contact Cris Porter at (231) 271-8600 ext. 400 or email her at portercr@suttonsbayschools.com
