Bay Theatre to Show Environmental Films for Water Week

Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities will host two Line 5-related films today (Wednesday) and tomorrow at the Bay Theatre in Suttons Bay for Water Week.

Both films and the brief presentaions that follow should be of great interest to anyone who is concerned broadly about Great Lakes water issues, says Groundwork Communicatons Director Jeff Smith.

The first showing is Bad River (tonight at 7p.m.) about a Line 5 fight in Wisconsin, but the river in question flows into Lake Superior. And a Bad River tribal member will be live via Zoom to discuss afterward.

The second is Troubled Water, (Thursday at 7 p.m.), which documents a Great Lakes paddling journey of two lifelong friends. A panel of three Line 5 activists will discuss the issue following the film.
